So this morning i woke up, had some breakfast and went back to my internship. To my surprise the ride by bike was still 8 miles, i would have expected with all these earthquakes happing that this would have lengthened my route by a couple of inches. But after taking General Windypops calculation in mind, i think that i have probably burned around 371 calories, because well i was a bit sweaty and was still wearing to much clothes for this time of the year probably.
Will update when i go back home later today. Nothing in education is so astonishing as the amount of ignorance it accumulates in the form of facts. |

you can't count the 10 yards you pushed the bike to the road so it wasn't 8 miles at all. also the 500 calories for the beer you had outweighs the burn of the ride so yet again your figures hide the truth. please post a truer account of the facts
Stop twisting my words man! I never mentioned i gained or lost weight after that ride I was also talking about the actual biking, not walking with my bike, because then i was going by foot. My facts are real and interesting, the topic starter on the other hand.... Nothing in education is so astonishing as the amount of ignorance it accumulates in the form of facts. |

LUNCH UPDATE:
I just had an amazing lunch, sat in the sun, worked on my tan. But unfortunately this lunch was pretty heavy, this means i have to upgrade my fleet bicycle to a t3 version, to burn more calories or i need to fit a microwarpdrive. Anyway according to my Windypops derived calculations it would probably mean i need to burn at least 576 calories to neutralize this amazing lunch. Nothing in education is so astonishing as the amount of ignorance it accumulates in the form of facts. |

Edited by: Gumpy Nighthawk on 07/04/2010 16:22:10 In an unfortunatly turn of events, the wind has turned when i headed back, so i probably didn't burn that many calories :( I fear i have today actually turned fat :/ Nothing in education is so astonishing as the amount of ignorance it accumulates in the form of facts. |
